Beef Patty

BEEF BURGER

Serves four

  • 4 EMH beef patties
  • cold-pressed olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • butter
  • lettuce leaves
  • 1 large beefsteak tomato
  • 125 g mozzarella cheese

sauce:

  • 2 avocados
  • 1 small red onion
  • pickled jalapeno rings
  • lime juice
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

Start by preparing the avocado sauce. Cut the avocados in half and scoop out the flesh. Mash with a fork, season with salt, pepper and lime juice. Finely chop the onion and jalapeno rings and add to the sauce. Slice the cheese and the tomato. Heat a pan, toast the buns on both sides and then spread with butter. In another pan, heat a little oil and fry the patties until golden on both sides, place the mozzarella slices on top, cover the pan with a lid and let the cheese melt. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun half, then the patty with cheese, a tomato slice and a generous amount of avocado sauce. Top with the other bun half and serve.
