CHEESE FRANKFURTER ROLLS

Makes 11 pieces

  • 1 pack EMH pork frankfurters with cheese
  • EMH cold-smoked bacon
  • 1 pack puff pastry (sheets)
  • Dijon mustard
  • 1 small egg
  • sesame seeds

Spread a thin, even layer of mustard on the pastry and cut into strips. Wrap each frankfurter first with a strip of bacon, then with a strip of pastry. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Beat the egg, brush the rolls with egg wash, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in a preheated 200°C oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
